LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT – tutti i dettagli del nuovo album “LTE3”

Il 2020 si è concluso con il tanto atteso annuncio del nuovo album dei LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT. Oggi la super band formata da Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Sons of Apollo), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater) e Tony Levin (King Crimson, Peter Gabriel) annuncia la data di release di “LTE3”, in uscita il 26 marzo 2021 su Inside Out Music.

Il commento del chitarrista John Petrucci:
“Sono passati oltre 20 anni da quando abbiamo registrato qualcosa assieme ma quando tutti e quattro siamo rientrati in studio è sembrato come se il tempo non fosse mai trascorso. Tutta la magia racchiusa nei primi due album era ancora li ed è stato fantastico produrre di nuovo assieme. Sono veramente orgoglioso di quello che abbiamo creato e non vedo l’ora che lo possiate ascoltare tutti.”

Il commento del batterista Mike Portnoy:
“La cosa più bella di questo interminabile anno è stata la tanto attesa reunion! Ne è valsa la pena attendere tutti questi anni, la chimica tra di noi c’è ancora ed è più forte che mai.”

In 1997, Mike Portnoy, John Petrucci, Jordan Rudess, and Tony Levin, joined forces to create Liquid Tension Experiment. The foursome would release their iconic, self-titled debut album in 1998 and the dazzling follow-up, LTE2 in 1999, creating a dynamic, frantic, and inventive sound all their own. The incredible creativity between the collective would prompt Petrucci and Portnoy to invite Rudess to join Dream Theater, effectively marking the end of this side project. However, since that time, there have been few reunions more in demand. Now, with the world in lockdown and calendars unexpectedly aligned, the inconceivable has finally happened… a new Liquid Tension Experiment album.
